First settled in 1870’s this cute historical town is the shining pearl of Douglas County. With Farmer’s Markets, Holiday Star Lighting, Hiking, Festivals, County Fair, Outlet Shopping Mall, and fantastic restaurants this Town is the popular area. The City also includes highly ranked schools and sports programs everyone with growing families is seeking. The expanding growth brings lots of opportunities for new housing as well as established areas with beautiful homes and land.
The rich history of Castle Rock includes the prominent rock formation that overlooks the Town, the discovery of rhyolite stone in the butte near Plum Creek is what put Castle Rock on the map and made it an important station for northk-south railroad traffic.
